

•Always consider the safety of yourself and those around you.
•Wear the appropriate PPE for your work task (Safety boots, High Viz, Harness if working at height etc.).
•Be aware of moving vehicles and plant - Adhere to speed limits.
•Do not speed, be aware of pedestrians and be prepared to STOP.
•All work at height must be planned, risk assessed, and a suitable rescue plan must be in place.
•No hot works (Welding, cutting, grinding) are to be carried out without a permit to work being issued by the safety team. Contact the safety Lead if you need to carry out any hot works on-site.
•Ensure that all access and egress routes are always free from obstruction and trip hazards.
•Upon completion of using hand-held tools, staff and contractors will place the tools back in their containers in a safe location.
•All staff and contractors using tools will be trained, competent and familiar with the tools they are using.
•Do not block fire exit doors at any time.
•Report any hazards you find immediately.
